Botox and Jeuveau
Cosmetic Injectables
General Overview of the Treatment Process:
Free Consultation:
Before undergoing the procedure, you'll have a consultation with our qualified injector. She will assess your face, discuss your desired outcomes, and address any concerns or questions you may have.
Telemedicine Visit:
Our injector will provide a link to access your video call with our medical practitioner to complete a virtual exam. The medical exam will confirm this treatment is suitable for you. You will not need to repeat this visit for additional treatments for one calendar year.
Injection Process:
Our injector will clean and numb the treatment area if needed. She will carefully inject small amounts of the chosen product into specific areas of the face, focusing on the desired enhancement.
Recovery and Results:
After the treatment, you may experience some mild swelling, redness, or bruising, which is normal and typically resolves within a few days. The filler treatments are visible immediately. Tox treatments can take 1-2 weeks to develop. The longevity of the results varies by the type of treatment you are receiving, after which maintenance treatments will be needed.
Neuromodulators are medications that can be used cosmetically for the treatment of wrinkles that have been caused by repeated movement of the facial muscles.
Botox is a brand of neuromodulator. It is injected with a tiny needle into different areas of the face to temporarily relax facial muscles. When the muscles can no longer contract, the overlying skin becomes flat. Lines in the face diminish resulting in smoother, younger looking skin!
Jeuveau® (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) injection is an FDA-approved neuromodulator used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. Jeuveau can only be used in this area of the face.
Frequently Asked Questions About Botox and Jeuveau
About The Procedure
Why do I have to do a Telemedicine visit?
Under Texas Medical Board guidelines Botox and Jueveau are considered a medication and must be prescribed by a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner. All Injectors must be supervised by a licensed Medical Director. The one-time medical exam is $35 and is good for one year. You do not have to see the Doctor/NP every visit, just on the initial visit.
What happens during the procedure?
Your Injector injects very small amounts of purified botulinum toxin.
When treating fine lines and wrinkles, the botulinum toxin is injected into targeted muscles on the face or neck. This temporarily relaxes the targeted muscles, causing fine lines and wrinkles to diminish. The effect lasts about 3 to 4 months — and sometimes longer.
Will I lack facial expression after treatment?
Injectors administer just enough to weaken and relax the targeted muscles without affecting other muscles. This allows patients to maintain their natural facial expressions.
Is there any pain or swelling?
Some individuals have reported side effects like pain, swelling, or bruising at injection sites.
There can be very brief pain depending on the area being injected, but pain and swelling are typically very mild. Ask your Injector which areas of the face are more sensitive if you are concerned.
Can you use Botox and Jeuveau together?
In short, no. Botox Cosmetic and Jeuveau shouldn’t be used at the same time. Combining them can lead to side effects.

Specific costs can vary for everyone. It depends on which areas of your face you want to target, and how much medication you get at a time. Costs also vary by provider, and the frequency of your injections also plays a big role.
